Details

Where do we stay: Essentially you are “camping”. These villages do not have electricity. We have a clinic building that you can sleep in and also an adobe building that is where our “kitchen” is set up.

What do we eat: Most food is purchased in the United States. The drinking water is also from the USA. We prepare most of our own food. It’s possible that the Mexican people will make some dishes to share - usually a dessert dish if they do.

Who else is going: This trip is also sponsored by the Methodist Church. There will be a few members attending.

Is it Safe: YES!, Where we go is very remote. This is not an area with safety concerns. There is no cell service. We carry a satellite phone and have a check person back in the United States. We are in constant contact with our Mexican Friends and they keep us up to date.
