Since the first trip to Boquillas and Las Norias in 1986, Misión De Candelilla has been serving small villages across the border with medical care, spiritual support, and the love of Christ.

Our Mission

Our Mission is to change lives on both sides of the border through short term missions that have a long term impact. We provide medical, humanitarian, physical, and spiritual support to those in rural areas of Mexico. Through the work of God, we see lives changed by those who serve and those that are served. Together, we hope to bring physical and spiritual needs together in a way that brings glory to God the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit.

Who We Are

We are a Christian medical mission, in the main, that provides medical care to nine small villages (Ejidos) in the remote northern Mexican desert close to Big Bend National Park - seven are in the Mexican State of Coahuila & two in far eastern Chihuahua. In addition to the medical care to these villages we also provide wellness clinics to small schools, provide school supplies, and offer construction trips for these villages. We strive to continue to find ways to serve in Mexico as well as in our local community. The result is that the lives of those who go to serve are changed along with those we are serving. This is why we firmly believe we change lives on both sides of the border. While we serve physical needs we are mindful of the souls of those we minster towards and our own. We want the Lord’s name to be known and worshipped with each trip!

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
